Consistently mentioned among the most-admired executives in the state, Kitson has patiently led the development of Florida’s first solar-powered city, Babcock Ranch, which involved the largest land preservation acquisition in state history. A former guard for the Green Bay Packers, Kitson has served as chair of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and is the incoming chair of the board of governors for the State University System.

Babcock Neighborhood School introduced an innovative project-based curriculum and finished its first year as the only A-rated elementary school in Charlotte County. |
