New amenities at Talis Park on schedule for fall completion

Developer Kitson & Partners announced Phase II of the Vyne House Clubhouse, a new Sports Complex, and a south entry gate at Talis Park in North Naples are all on schedule for completion this fall. Kitson also announced the extension of Talis Park Drive, the community’s primary thoroughfare, to the southern border of the property and the installation of underground utilities and a landscaped streetscape in the new Corsica neighborhood have been completed.
Kitson recently expanded the community’s single-family homesite offering by releasing 12 of the 24 homesites in Corsica. Corsica’s north-facing homesites offer water and multiple fairway views and are situated adjacent to the new Talis Park Sports Complex. Twenty-three of Corsica’s homesites measure 65 or 77 feet and will accommodate residences ranging from 3,000 to 4,500 square feet. One 90-foot site is also available.
The 26,470-square-foot under air, multilevel Vyne House Phase II project is being built by DeAngelis Diamond Construction Inc. Talis Park’s residents continue to enjoy dining at Fiona’s Market Café, working out at the Core Fitness Center, and relaxing at the Esprit Spa that opened at Vyne House over a year-and-a-half ago.
When Phase II is completed, Vyne House will include 32,052 total square feet under air and 25,065 square feet of outdoor space. The roof trusses have been set and the building will be completely dried in and ready for interior finishing by mid-June. Vyne House Phase II is on schedule to be completed and ready for operational use by the end of October.
Located adjacent to the Great Lawn at Talis Park’s Grand Piazza, Vyne House epitomizes the New Fashioned aesthetic Kitson has introduced at the North Naples community. Vyne House consists of a series of lifestyle oriented spaces designed to be used every day, inviting users to come as they are in a relaxed, comfortable format. The buildings are interconnected by covered outdoor walkways and wrapped around multiple courtyards that offer the possibility of outdoor dining and entertaining.
Phase II will introduce Vyne Court, an open-air courtyard that is the centerpiece of Vyne House. In addition to serving as a point of entry, Vyne Court will be used as a social space for hosting events. The upper level will also include formal indoor dining, casual indoor and outdoor dining, a multipurpose room adjacent to Vyne Court, aerobics and cardio workout rooms, and a wine room/board room. The lower level of Vyne House Phase II will host the golf pro shop as well as the men’s and ladies’ locker rooms. Phase II will also include the completion of a resort style pool with a large pool deck as well as a stately rotunda that will feature an oversized, two-sided fireplace and overlook the 18th green.
The Sports Complex will complete the array of amenities Kitson has designed and constructed to enhance Talis Park’s New Fashioned, health-oriented lifestyle. The Sports Complex will feature six lighted Har-Tru tennis courts with directionally focused lighting and pavilions for resting between matches, a tennis pro shop and clubhouse with restrooms and a beverage center, four bocce ball courts, a 50-foot two-lane lap pool, and landscaped areas. A green space will provide a social gathering and event place reminiscent of the community’s signature Great Lawn at Talis Park’s Grand Piazza.
Filling of the Sports Complex site and installation of the underground drainage systems and pipe work have been completed. The building contractors for the tennis and bocce ball courts, swimming pool, and tennis pro shop and clubhouse will be mobilized in June. Landscaping, lighting, and signage will be addressed in September in advance of a mid-October opening.
The new entry gate at the south end of Talis Park Drive will include a guardhouse and a private entry lane for residents. As part of the entry gate project, Kitson will create a memorable approach to the community’s south entrance with significant landscaping enhancements along 1,000 feet of Veteran’s Memorial Parkway between the south entry gate and Livingston Road. Construction of the new entry is underway. The guardhouse, entry walls and landscaping, as well as the landscaping enhancements on Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, are on schedule for completion in October.
In addition to Vyne House and the Sports Complex, Talis Park’s amenities include its golf course that is one of just two Greg Norman-Pete Dye designed golf courses in the world. Known for its lakes and Sea Dwarf paspalum fairways and greens, the course is consistently ranked among the top 20 golf courses in Florida and was ranked No. 91 in Golfweek’s 2014 Best Residential Courses.
Kitson recently announced it is offering 14 luxury condominium residences immediately adjacent to Vyne House and the Great Lawn. The new Residences at Vyne House will offer the consummate In the Village lifestyle and put a select group of homeowners literally within steps of every amenity at Vyne House.
