Vogue Interiors announced designers Leslie Gebert, Allied Member, ASID, and Sheila Corasaniti, IDS, have completed an interior that exudes both sophisticated elegance and luxurious comfort for Harbourside Custom Homes’ Villa San Remo furnished model in Seneca at Talis Park. The interior design takes full advantage of the long-range water and double or triple fairway views afforded by Seneca’s lakefront homesites that showcase Talis Park’s hallmark “In the Park” living experience.

The 3,658-square-foot under air Villa San Remo model’s floor plan features a 29-by-20-foot great room, a formal dining room, a wet bar, a double-island gourmet kitchen and breakfast nook, a study, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, an outdoor living area with a large covered terrace, gas fireplace, outdoor kitchen, pool and spa, and a three-car garage.

The home’s covered entry opens to a foyer and wide gallery hallway that provide a see-though view of the great room, outdoor living area and pool, and Seneca’s spectacular views. The great room, study, and master bedroom all open to the outdoor living area to create an indoor/outdoor living experience that pays homage to Seneca’s one-of-a-kind setting. Custom ceiling details will be found throughout the home.

Gebert and Corasaniti’s light, simply tailored look for the San Remo is designed to reflect the home’s open and airy floor plan. The floor and wall coverings provide a foundation of soft grays, chromes, and creams with hints of citron. The flooring in the main living area is a 9-by-36-inch wood-look ceramic tile in a soft cream that continues into the dining room and study. A long gallery hallway beyond the foyer features a coordinating solid porcelain tile which, in combination with widely spaced columns, defines the entry into the great room.

The grand entry foyer affords immediate views through the columned gallery to the great room, pool, lanai, and panoramic views beyond. A wall niche is adorned with faux wood wallpaper in varying tones of gray and beautiful artwork. Stepping into the gallery, the eye is drawn to a display at one end where a magnificent wall covering by Elitis provides an element of drama with its black background and artistic gold foil design.

To the left of the foyer, the open dining room is defined by columns. A rectangular table with a contemporary chrome base and cream wood top is complemented by casual looking upholstered chairs in a neutral linen with chrome nail head detailing. Sheer draperies in creams and taupes soften the large window. A wall niche, decorated with faux wood wallpaper to match the foyer niche, displays artwork.

Crossing the wide gallery into the great room, the sense of light airy space is evident everywhere. The ceiling features a suspended painted beam detail running front to back with backlighting. A sofa in a neutral cream tone linen, accented with pillows in tones of gray, gold and cream, faces the television wall. Two upholstered chairs with a subdued gold geometric pattern on a cream background add character while a soft gray rug anchors the space together with two mirrored rectangular cocktail tables. The seating group is arranged across from a console with a chrome base and a cream colored chagrin leather front with large circular chrome pulls.

Overhead, a large wall-mounted television is set against a backdrop of dove gray mica wallpaper. A narrow horizontal niche over the television reveals a decorative planter while two tall niches on the right showcase towering vases filled with organic displays.

The great room flows seamlessly into a kitchen with two counter-height islands that provide an integrated sense of connection. The base cabinetry on the outer island is a dark graphite tone while the inner island and perimeter cabinetry are finished in white with a pewter glaze. Distinctive granite counter tops showcase intricate movement in light tones of creams and warm grays. Tying everything together, a backsplash features a laser cut glass tile that produces the effect of a silver metallic figure eight against a soft white background. Low-backed bar stools are featured at the outer island as well as at the wet bar off the kitchen. Gebert and Corasaniti used the same granite at the bar, but with a backsplash in a dark reflective glitzy glass tile for added pizazz.

A breakfast nook, with wide mitered glass windows, features a square glass top table with an open wood base. Four wood framed chairs, upholstered in a neutral texture, blend perfectly.

The high-ceiling, oversized study at the rear of the home features an artful combination of two contrasting wallpapers, a chair rail, and high wainscoting for a warm sophisticated look. Tall custom built-in shelving displays flank a floating desk in driftwood and metal tones. A leather study chair and two upholstered chairs provides style, comfort and practicality.

The covered lanai of the San Remo features three distinct areas for relaxing and entertaining. The area immediately off the great room features a large conversation area that includes two curved gray sofas with patterned accent pillows in grays, creams, and golds, gathered around a matching circular gray ottoman. The dining area features a contemporary rectangular glass top table and six chairs in a woven gray metallic. The adjacent outdoor kitchen cabinetry is finished in espresso with a countertop in a light gray leather finish. A second conversation area is behind the study where a fireplace provides the focus for four upholstered lounge chairs.

Entered through a private vestibule, the master bedroom showcases a color palette of black and cream. The upholstered bed with its tufted headboard and footboard is flanked by night stands in a combination of black wood and off-white leather. Dramatic drop lights are suspended over each night stand. A long low dresser from the same collection is positioned across from the bed with a television wall-mounted above.

The master bathroom features light ceramic tile, vanity cabinetry executed in glazed white, and countertops in the themed tones of white, cream, and gray. A freestanding tub is flanked on either side by entries into a large walk-in shower where a listello detail in a chrome-look glass tile adds glamour. The wall covering showcases a metallic troweled effect in shades of creamy grays.
