ULI to meet

The Urban Land Institute-Southwest Florida District Council presents the second of its four-part series that evaluates future growth in Southwest Florida on Friday from 7:45 to 10 a.m. at Florida Gulf Coast University. The second session in the “Here We Grow Again” series examines current development patterns and land use issues in Collier County, with presenters and panelists discussing how the county can effectively accommodate future growth. Following these presentations, the four speakers will be joined by Collier County Commissioner Tim Nance for a Q-AND-A session with attendees. All three remaining sessions are open to the public as well as members of the ULI Southwest Florida District Council. The April 17 session focuses on the future of development in Lee County, and May 15 is a look at Charlotte County’s future growth. Cost: $35 per session (or $75 for all sessions) for ULI members; $50 per session (or $120 for all sessions) for nonmembers. Discounts are offered to students and public sector attendees. The programs take place in Room 111 of Sugden Hall at FGCU. Registration deadline for the Collier County program is March 18. For information and registrations, swflorida.uli.org.
