BABCOCK RANCH — Kitson & Partners announced that furnished models by Homes by Towne, Stock Development, Florida Lifestyle Homes, and Fox Premier Builders are open for viewing at Ranch, a new 18,000-acre eco-centric, solar powered town being developed by Kitson off State Road 31 in Charlotte County just north of the Lee Civic Center. The models are in Babcock’s Lake Timber neighborhood and showcase the town’s Craftsman, Farmhouse, Coastal Gulf Vernacular, Spanish and Colonial/West Indies architectural styles. All residences at Babcock Ranch are built to Florida Green Building Coalition Certification standards.

Homes by Towne’s residences in Lake Timber range from 1,956 to 2,660 square feet and are base priced in the mid-$300s. The West Indies style Sungold model offers 2,545 square feet with a great room and dining area, island kitchen and a breakfast area. The plan includes three bedrooms, a den, two baths, a three-car garage, and a deck with a pool and spa. The model includes an optional pool bath. Dark-toned wood flooring, soft white backgrounds, Bahama shutters, and the home’s front porch contribute to its relaxed West Indies vibe.

The two-story, Craftsman style Jade model features a 2,441-square-foot, two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath great room plan with a den and an upstairs bonus room. The den can serve as a third bedroom on the first floor. The upstairs can be configured as a bonus room with a half or full bath, or as a bonus room plus third or fourth bedroom with a half or full bath. The model includes the full bonus room and a half-bath. An outdoor living area and summer kitchen are also included in the model.

The Farmhouse style 2,660-square-foot Sterling model features a red metal roof accent. The three-bedroom, three-bath great room plan includes a den and a study and allows the home to offer three, four or five bedrooms. A vaulted ceiling in the great room contributes to the plan’s open feeling. The model includes an outdoor living area and a summer kitchen.

The Coastal style Brandywine model features an open 1,956-square-foot plan with two bedrooms, a den or third bedroom that opens to the front porch, two baths, a great room with a vaulted ceiling, kitchen and dining area, and a two-car garage. The model includes a pool and pool deck and an outdoor kitchen, all of which are optional in new-build Brandywine residences.

Situated on lakefront home sites, Stock Development’s Bartow, Sebring, Delray, Crystal, and Destin models are also open in Lake Timber. The Bartow model is base priced at $439,990. The residence offers a 2,822-square-foot great room plan with an island kitchen, study, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, a two-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a pool. Features in the model include a built-in and a dry bar in the dining area and applied molding details in the powder bath.

A mix of old and new elements creates a relaxed interior in the Sebring model. Board and batten wall details, an old Florida style sliding barn door connecting the dining room and kitchen, ceiling details, and doors that open the dining room to a covered front porch contribute to a connection with the outdoors. The outdoor area includes a pool and pavered deck. Base priced at $419,990, the Sebring’s 2,676-square-foot great room plan includes a formal dining room, island kitchen, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a two-car garage.

Base priced at $499,990, the two-story Delray model presents street-facing covered porches on the first and second floors. The 3,264-square-foot plan features a variety of gathering places, including a great room and dining area that opens to the outdoor living space, an island kitchen, study, upstairs bonus room, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a two-car garage. The outdoor living area overlooking the lake offers another place to relax.

Beginning with the swing and rocking chairs on the home’s front porch, and extending through an interior replete with rustic Old Florida elements, the Crystal model is a place where neighbors will always be welcomed. In addition to a great room and study, the 3,076-square-foot floor plan includes an island kitchen, three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and an outdoor living area with a summer kitchen, pool and spa. The Crystal floor plan is base priced at $499,990.

Stock’s Destin model presents an organic contemporary style interior. The great room, island kitchen and dining space is the heart of the Destin’s 3,191-square-foot floor plan that also includes four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a study, three-car garage, and an outdoor living area with a pool and spa overlooking the lake. The Destin is base priced at $509,990.

Base priced in the low $500s, Florida Lifestyle’s two-story Lauren model offers 4,081 square feet plus 835 square feet of covered front and rear porch space. The open-concept plan features a great room, island kitchen and breakfast nook, a formal dining room, the master suite, and two guest bedrooms on the first floor. Upstairs, a loft and a separate bonus room with a space for storage offer additional places for entertaining or a home office. The upstairs also features a full bath and a fourth bedroom with a walk-in closet. An unfinished room measuring 424 square feet is included upstairs and can be tailored to meet individual preferences.

Florida Lifestyle’s 2,784-square-foot Taylor floor model features an additional 1,029 square feet of covered front and rear porches. The open-concept plan includes a great room, island kitchen, and breakfast nook with two sets of double doors leading from the great room to the covered rear porch. The plan also features a formal dining room, three bedrooms, a study or fourth bedroom, three baths, a two-car garage, and a swimming pool. The master bedroom also opens to the rear porch.

Base priced in the $300s, Fox Premier Builders’ Cottage Collection floor plans have been converted to accommodate a SIP Panel Construction process developed by New Panel Homes in Englewood. The interior features a living room with a fireplace, a dining area and island kitchen, and a first-floor master suite. The upstairs offers a media room, two bedrooms, and a covered porch.

Fox’s two-story, 2,001-square-foot Cabin model features an open great room, dining, and kitchen area, a master suite with a full bath and a powder bath on the first floor. A covered porch offers an outdoor gathering place. The upstairs includes a loft open to the great room below, and a second master suite with a full bath. The Cabin model combines the SIPs construction process with hybrid timber framing, timber exterior finishes, and interior beamed ceiling details while leaving a minimal carbon footprint.
