Kitson & Partners has secured a 10-year, 62,500-square-foot lease for its second Orlando-area location of Floor & Decor at Gateway Plaza in Sanford. Located 20 miles north of downtown Orlando, Gateway Plaza is a 214,489-square-foot retail center whose other anchor tenants are Bed, Bath & Beyond, Michaels, Ashley Furniture, and Toys R Us. The Atlanta-based company specializes in hard surface flooring tile, wood, stone, related tools and flooring accessories. The company will take over the space May 1, once it is vacated by the current tenant Beall’s. CBRE represented the tenant during the transaction.

“Floor & Decor is a perfect fit for the current merchandising mix at Gateway Plaza,” said CBRE Senior Vice President James Mitchell, who exclusively represents Kitson & Partners on their Central Florida portfolio.
