Babcock Ranch launches Food Truck Fridays

Food trucks, live music coming soon to Babcock Ranch. Roy’s gets a new look in Bonita, and Nathan’s Famous brings a hot-dog qualifier to Cape Coral. All the news that’s fit to eat in A La Carte.

Food Truck Fridays are coming to Babcock Ranch.

The all solar-powered community, located on the Lee-Charlotte border northeast of Fort Myers, will host a food-truck rally March 29 from 6-9 p.m. in its Founder’s Square. The event will include 14 trucks from around the area, along with live music from Mad Soul, a rock-reggae-blues group, in the Babcock Ranch bandshell.

The lineup of food trucks includes: BuddhaBlends Vegan Kitchen, Sweet Cheesus, Classic Cuban, Coasting Donuts, Gator John’s BBQ, Hungry Pony, Kona Ice, Ma Petite Creperie, Red Roc Cravings, Rollin’ Raw Bar, Sauss Boss, Squeezers Lemonade, Trippin’ on Pizza and Wicked Streatery, along with offerings from Babcock Ranch’s Table & Tap restaurant, Slater’s Goods & Provisions, and Square Scoops Coffee & Creamery.

Babcock Ranch, the solar-powered community on the Lee-Charlotte border, will host its first Food Truck Friday March 29.

Guests can bring picnic blankets for lawn seating; tables will also be available. Guests who register in advance at babcockranch.com will be entered to win one of three gift cards for use at the community’s restaurants or its Curry Creek Outfitters retail store.
