This immense, year-long research initiative by the editors of Florida Trend has resulted in a personal, engaging look at the states most influential business leaders.

Kitson’s development portfolio includes entitlements for 21,500 residential units and 6.8 million square feet of commercial space. The company’s signature project is Babcock Ranch in Southwest Florida — an 18,000-acre town built from scratch that will be solar-powered. The deal in which Kitson purchased the property also created the largest land preservation purchase in state history.
