Terry Holihen
General CounselTerry brings nearly 30 years of experience in real estate development law, land use/ entitlement law, and real estate and financing transactions to Kitson & Partners. As General Counsel, he oversees all legal affairs, manages the in-house legal team and outside counsel, and serves as a trusted legal advisor to Kitson & Partners on real estate assets and general business transactions, as well as internal operations, compliance, and management.
Since joining Kitson & Partners in 2005, Terry has held roles across project management, asset management, and acquisitions and investments. One of Terry’s most notable contributions was his critical role in the landmark 2006 acquisition of Babcock Ranch and the concurrent sale of Babcock Ranch Preserve to the State of Florida.
Before joining Kitson & Partners, Terry was a shareholder at Akerman Senterfitt in Orlando and began his legal career as an associate with Roetzel & Andress in Naples, Florida. Prior to law school, Terry served as a Naval Intelligence Officer for the A-6 Intruder community during the first Gulf War.
Terry earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science from the College of the Holy Cross and a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law.
