BABCOCK RANCH – An agreement between Kitson & Partners and Pulte Homes will bring one of the nation’s leading builders to Babcock Ranch.
Pulte will be building a new neighborhood, Parkside at Babcock Ranch, just southeast of Founder’s Square, that will include more than 150 Pulte homes on 50-foot lots priced in the $200s to mid-$300s. The new Pulte neighborhood is adjacent to a community park and the neighborhood being built by Lennar.
Pulte will also be constructing homes in the Lake Timber neighborhood. With front porches providing views across Lake Babcock and Founder’s Square, prices for those homes will start in the high-$200s.
Pulte Homes will be offering a premier selection of single-family home designs featuring elegant and contemporary exteriors that blend seamlessly into the streetscape at Babcock Ranch. The one- and two-story plans will include gathering areas as well as flexible and functional spaces. Each floor plan will offer 1,674 to over 3,100 square feet with two to five bedrooms and two to four baths.

Homebuyers will also have the opportunity to choose from a collection of design features and finishes to personalize their home, including options such as gourmet kitchens, extended walk-in showers, zero-corner pocket sliding glass doors, extended lanais, custom pools, and more.
At Babcock Ranch, every home will include a full gigabyte of fiber-optic connectivity, and an environmentally friendly lifestyle powered the 75mw Florida Power & Light (FPL) solar power plant located within the town. With a projected population of 50,000 at build out, the new town of 19,500 homes and six million feet of commercial space is the largest new development currently underway in the U.S.
“Pulte is an outstanding addition to our roster of builders,” said Syd Kitson, chairman and CEO of Kitson Partners. “In addition to being one of the pre-eminent residential builders in the nation, they share our passion and commitment to creating a whole new, sustainable way of living at Babcock Ranch.”
“Babcock Ranch has been highly anticipated for a long time and we couldn’t be more excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this groundbreaking project,” said Rich McCormick, president of PulteGroup’s Southwest Florida Division. “Pulte Homes has long appreciated the benefits of solar and other renewable sources of energy. Across the country we have been testing and implementing innovative energy solutions and sustainable practices to achieve maximum energy efficiency and load reduction in our communities. Our goal is to build more energy efficient homes that effectively balance constructability, cost and quality.”
McCormick added that double-pane Low-E windows, tankless water heaters, Whirlpool ENERGY STAR® certified appliances, and LED lighting are just some of the features that will maximize energy efficiency in their new home designs.
