Lennar Homes has introduced its new Trail’s Edge neighborhood featuring five Wi-Fi Certified models at Babcock Ranch, the world’s first solar-powered town located just northeast of Fort Myers on Babcock Ranch Road/State Road 31.

With activation and support by Amazon, Lennar’s five Babcock Ranch models illustrate the homes’ built-in connection to technology brand devices, such as Amazon’s Echo Dot, Kwikset Kevo Smart Locks, Honeywell Lyric Round Wi-Fi thermostats, and Ring Video Doorbells.

Guests will be able to tour fully furnished models that keep homebuyers connected from virtually every room in the house.

“We are delighted to debut Trail’s Edge within Babcock Ranch,” said Darin McMurray, division president of Lennar in Southwest Florida. “Lennar’s Everything’s Included program and Wi-Fi CERTIFIED home designs coupled with this technological community provide the ideal backdrop where a homeowner can truly have it all.”

Located within walking distance to the downtown amenities in Founder’s Square, the heart of Babcock Ranch, Lennar’s Trail’s Edge neighborhood offers 14 villa, executive and manor floor plans with one- and two-story designs and two- and three-car garages. Homes are priced from the high $100s to the mid-$300s.

Lennar’s Queen villa model offers two bedrooms and two baths in 1,564 air-conditioned square feet. With interior design by CJ Décor, the Queen features a den that homebuyers can transform into a home library or hobby space and is base priced at $194,999.

Two executive home model floor plans demonstrate the flexibility in Lennar’s home designs. With 2,032 square feet of living space, the four-bedroom, three-bath Sylvester model features a great room and an optional den furnished by Janet Graham Interiors. Pricing starts from $226,999.

The four-bedroom, three-bath Foxtail model features a two-story home design. Showcasing interiors by CJ Décor, the home offers a formal dining room and great room with an open kitchen with breakfast nook overlooking the lanai. Upstairs, a bonus room is a play room, loft area or office, along with a master suite and two bedrooms in addition to one on the first floor. The Foxtail is available starting from $261,999.

Lennar’s largest homes at Babcock Ranch, manor homes feature great room plans with a connection to outdoor living spaces that encourage entertaining.

The three-bedroom, three-bath plus den Palmetto offers 2,444 air-conditioned square feet. Gouse’s Fine Furniture created an interior design that takes its cue from the contemporary and coastal influences of the Palmetto’s clean-lined exterior. With a master suite featuring a tub and dual walk-in closets, the Palmetto is base priced at $281,999 with a three-car garage.

Also designed by Graham, the two-story Majestica boasts five bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths. Gathering space abounds in the 3,283-square-foot home, with a great room, living room, dining room and breakfast nook on the first floor. The second-floor master suite is joined by three bedrooms, two full baths and a loft space envisioned as an all-purpose entertainment area. With a split three-car garage, the Majestica is priced from $324,999.

Babcock Ranch was created by Kitson & Partners with respect for the natural environment and the philosophy that smart growth and sustainability work hand in hand. Half of the town’s 18,000-acre footprint is set aside as greenways, parks and expansive lakes, providing recreation and scenic backdrops for Babcock Ranch’s homes and the Founder’s Square downtown district.

Emphasizing a front-porch lifestyle to nurture a sense of community, Babcock Ranch promotes healthy living through a walkable community plan, 50 miles of planned biking and hiking trails, interconnected lakes for paddling enthusiasts, a calendar of exercise classes, and the Healthy Life Center managed by Lee Health at Founder’s Square, with health club facilities, nutrition counseling, therapeutic services, and medical offices that will open this summer.

Table & Tap restaurant, Slater’s Goods and Provisions, Square Scoops Coffee & Creamery, Curry Creek Outfitters, and Babcock Neighborhood School welcomed the greater community to Founder’s Square even before the arrival of the town’s first residents in early January. A downtown park offers a lakefront bandshell, boardwalk, covered pavilions, and charging stations for electronics, including cars. An autonomous shuttle – part of the town’s mobility plan – provides transportation between homes and Founder’s Square. And with plans to expand into On Demand services, goods delivery and hourly/daily car rentals within the next year, Babcock Ranch will continue offering mobility solutions that reduce the need for car ownership in the new town.

Babcock Ranch has eight homebuilders offering more than 50 home designs including twin villas, cottages, town homes, single-family executive, manor and custom homes featuring one- and two-story designs, two to six bedrooms, and 1,400 to 4,761 square feet of living space. Prices range from the high $100,000 to $1 million. Homes are built to Florida Green Building Coalition standards, emphasizing energy and water conservation.

More than 30 model and quick-delivery homes are now open or under construction by Castle Harbour Homes, Florida Lifestyle Homes, Fox Premier Builders, Homes by Towne, Lennar, Pulte Homes, Solara Homes by Banroc, and Stock Classic Homes. Many models are open for viewing daily.

The Discovery Center is at 42850 Crescent Loop in Babcock Ranch or visit www.BabcockRanch.com.
