From the equipment to the health experts, the new Healthy Life Center at Babcock Ranch is starting the new town with a clear vision of health and wellness.  “It’s part of our mission. Our mission is to be a trusted partner in empowering healthier lives, and this is exactly what we want to do. We want to come into a community and be able to improve people’s lives,” said Dr. Larry Antonucci, President- and CEO of Lee Health.

The idea started more than a decade ago. Today Babcock Ranch chairman and CEO Syd Kitson says seeing it come to life is a dream come true.  “This is not just a gym. It’s truly a place where people can come and think about how they can make their lives better through nutrition, through how they take care of their bodies, and the things they can do.”

From an inside basketball court to an outdoor lap pool, the Healthy Life Center at Babcock Ranch also offers members occupational therapy and physical therapy.  “Lee Health has created an environment where regardless what it is that you’re looking for in your life you have it here. Without this building and without Lee Health here we would be missing a huge part of what we are,” said Kitson.

A community built to inspire health and wellness. “As you look to the future and you realize that we have to evolve away from just a repair center to really changing people’s lives and improving them. This really fits that bill perfectly,” said Dr. Antonucci.
