Gulfshore Homes’ President Steven Watt selected Naples-based Pacifica Interior Design to design and furnish the Dorado, a new luxury custom model in the Prato neighborhood at Talis Park.

Lusia “Lou” Shafran, principal designer and CEO of Pacifica Interior Design, will implement the interior design and furnishings for the Dorado model, along with Mark Vanagas and Rick Foreman, senior designers for the firm. Pacifica Interior Design has an extensive history in the design and execution of interiors for high-end model residences and private client projects, from new built homes to remodels.

“Our approach to the Gulfshore Homes model will be to create a residence that is ideally suited to the prestigious Talis Park lifestyle, based on a “California chic” sensibility to replace the Mediterranean styles favored for so long,” said Shafran.

The style embraces clean lines and light neutral colors accented with a punch of black and a pop of color to take advantage of the Florida sunshine and to create the new standard of casual elegance that today’s clients are looking for. The interior furnishings and the building material selections will embrace timelessness and sophistication that will retain its classic beauty long after current fads have passed.

The Dorado model has 6,336 square feet and includes four bedrooms, one of which is a VIP suite, four full bathrooms, a powder bath and a cabana bath off the outdoor living area. Completing the interior is a parlor with fireplace and wet bar, a library, red and white wine cellars, a chef’s kitchen with two islands and a morning room with a built-in coffee bar. The dining area in the great room is spacious and flows easily with French doors that lead to the covered terrace. The outdoor living space will include a swimming pool, spa, fire pit and breakfast bar that opens off the morning nook.

When complete, the Prato neighborhood at Talis Park will have only 24 single-family estate residences offering golf course and lake views. Talis Park is at 16990 Livingston Road. The 461-acre luxury golf community offers single-family homes and condominiums in five neighborhoods and a Greg Norman-Pete Dye designed golf course. Vyne House consists of comfortable lifestyle spaces for dining at Fiona’s Café, yoga, Pilates, a Core Fitness Center and Esprit Spa.
