Rich Hohman,
President -
K&P Clubs
Rich is one of the most experienced golf course operators and golf development executives in America, with over 20 years of experience in all sectors of the golf and club industries. His resume includes senior executive responsibility for more than 150 public, private and resort facilities throughout the United States and in the Caribbean. He also has been instrumental in the development and management of several high-end golf course communities and luxury golf resorts.
Prior to joining the Kitson & Partners team, Rich was Vice President of Asset Development for the Ginn Company, where he was involved in planning, constructing and operating several of the most impressive golf developments in Florida history. Earlier in his career he spent ten years in golf operations management with American Golf Corporation, starting as a regional operations manager in the Midwest, and advancing to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations, with total P&L responsibility for 95 golf facilities in the Eastern U.S., generating annual revenues of $180 Million.
In addition to his broad base of experience in golf operations and golf development, Rich has operated a ski resort and has extensive experience in hotel and restaurant operations management. Rich is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.

Mike Rippey, Senior Vice President (Company President 2000-2011) - K&P Clubs
Mike joined Kitson & Partners in 2001 to provide leadership for the company’s expanding business in golf club operations management, golf development, and golf property acquisitions. He has over 22 years of experience in golf course development and golf operations management, and during his career he has worked with well over 175 golf courses and clubs.
Mike was founder and president of North American Golf, Inc., based in Chicago, and under his direction North American Golf completed ten golf course development projects and provided management and consulting services to more than 50 golf clubs including nationally-ranked public courses and the prestigious Medinah Country Club near Chicago. The company also served as the primary golf consultant worldwide for the U.S. Army.
After negotiating the sale of North American Golf to Meadowbrook Golf Group in 1997, Mike spent four years with Meadowbrook, primarily in business development before leaving that company. He had his own golf consulting practice for about a year prior to serving as President of K&P Clubs for ten years.
He is known nationally and internationally as an expert on golf operations, golf markets, and industry trends. He has made more than a dozen speaking appearances at national golf conferences, and in October of 2009 he was an opening speaker at the Asia Pacific Golf Summit in Malaysia, reflecting K&P's expertise in golf development and management in Asia. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri.

Paul Estevez,
Director of Accounting -
K&P Clubs
Paul is an experienced finance and accounting professional with both public and private accounting experience. A graduate of the University of Florida, Paul passed the Uniform Certified Public Account Examination in 2001.
In addition to his broad base of experience in golf course operations and accounting, Paul has extensive knowledge in acquisitions, project financing and statutory reporting. Prior to joining the K&P Clubs team, Paul served as Vice President of Finance for Taylor Woodrow Homes, and also spent five years in public accounting at Ernst & Young LLP. |
While there are many aspects in a successful golf or club operation, K&P Clubs recognizes that the primary asset is the golf course itself. Our senior agronomic team is comprised of three of the most experienced and respected golf course superintendents in the business.
Dean Wochaski, CGCS,
Senior Agronomist -
Eastern U.S.
Dean is a graduate of the highly regarded turf management program at Michigan State University, and a Certified Golf Course Superintendent with more than 25 years of experience. His role with K&P Clubs includes making regular inspection visits to all clubs; participating in the development of all maintenance plans and budgets; and being available on a 24-hour basis to our golf course superintendents. Dean has had senior management responsibility for golf course maintenance at more than 75 public and private courses throughout the Eastern U.S. |
William Nauroth,
Senior Agronomist -
Western U.S.
Bill is a veteran golf course superintendent with more than 25 years of golf course management and agronomic experience. During his career, Bill has had
senior responsibility for golf course maintenance at more than 75 public and private courses throughout the Western United States. In addition, Bill has been responsible for multiple golf course construction projects, and for the establishment of several new courses. Both Bill and Dean provide agronomic support for due diligence on K&P golf course acquisitions and for golf course consulting projects across the country.

Steve Schendel, Senior Agronomist - Midwestern U.S.
With over 25 years of golf course maintenance experience, Steve has been involved with all aspects of golf course maintenance. He has had senior golf course maintenance management responsibility for more than 65 public, private and resort facilities. With diverse experience in all aspects of golf course maintenance, Steve’s strong background in training and development combined with his agronomic expertise help ensure that K&P Clubs provide the best conditions in respective markets on a consistent basis. |

Denise R. Adams,
Senior Consultant -
Membership Marketing
A graduate of Cornell University's prestigious School of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Denise has been with K&P Clubs since 2001. She is recognized as an industry leader in developing membership and marketing programs for premier golf clubs and other private membership clubs worldwide, and has been a frequent and popular speaker at industry conferences in the U.S. and abroad.
Denise served as a senior vice president for K&P Clubs from 2002 until 2009 and in 2010 moved into a consulting role, available for select private club projects. She has published three books on the subject of membership marketing and has been instrumental in membership programs for more than 50 exclusive golf and business clubs with initiation fees as high as $800,000. |
Amy McLean Ragsdale,
Senior Consultant -
Pro Shop Management
Amy supports K&P Clubs golf professionals and club managers in the design and management of successful golf merchandising operations. Providing complete golf shop assessments and retails plans for new K&P Clubs clients, Amy offers ongoing support and expertise in all aspects of retail operations.
Prior to joining the K&P Clubs team, Amy served as National Retail Director for Arnold Palmer Golf Management, and was also a Retail Merchandise Director at American Corporation, one of the largest golf course management companies in the industry. |
Ron Wonderling, Director - Operations
Ron Wonderling has over 14 years experience in the golf industry having spent 4 years with Troon Golf in various operational positions which included responsibilities in Illinois and Florida. He joined K&P Clubs in August of 2002 and has had oversight for over 14 operations primarily in Florida, Texas and California. In December 2010, Ron was appointed Director of Operations and continues to oversee operations throughout the Southeast and Midwest. |
Kyle Mooney, Director - Operations
Kyle graduated from Florida State University’s Professional Golf Management Program with a degree in Business and Hospitality Administration in 2006. He was recruited by K&P Clubs as their first Manager-In-Training and spent the start of his career managing the due diligence for Kitson’s purchase of 4 courses in the greater Orlando area, and was promoted to Assistant General Manager of Highlands Reserve Golf Club. Kyle was promoted to General Manager of Highlands Reserve in June of 2007 where he continues to be based. In January of 2010, Kyle was promoted to Director of Operations taking on multi-club responsibilities for the company in Orlando and in the Northeast part of the country. |
Tim Firestone, Director - Operations
Tim joined K&P Clubs in early 2010 to oversee Blackthorn Golf Club, a municipal facility owned by the City of South Bend, Indiana. Tim has been in the golf business for over 15 years, and his previous position was as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for ProLink Solutions. He helped grow the annual sales of ProLink to over $25 million. Tim’s expertise in sales and marketing has contributed to incremental revenue at all Kitson Clubs, and he also has operational responsibility for the Southwest part of the country. |
